She makes them from a combination of reclaimed, washed up and recycled materials. She starts with papier macho around wire frames, then she goes crazy with embellishment, using beads, glitters, felted wools, buttons, old lace and vintage or hand printed fabrics.
I adore the fact that she makes each piece beg to be noticed. I'd love to see one of these in person as she claims they are complete intricacies.
They'd make super cute, unusual gifts- maybe I'll use this as inspiration for something similar for my handmade christmas pressies this year!
